Left to Rot offers 30 minutes to 1 hour of gameplay full of scary situations that will make your blood run cold. Impressive graphics, animations, and sound design all contribute to the overall ambiance. I had such a good time playing this game! It was scary af, the jumpscares were VERY effective and the overall design was fantastic. I would have never guessed this was a solo project done by a 19 year old. I’ve played some TERRIBLE games that were made by experienced TEAMS that did not come close to this one. This guy is going to go far in game development if he sticks with it. Although the game has some flaws and bugs, the graphics are truly impressive. However, the gameplay could be more intuitive, making it clearer which clues players need to find in order to progress.

But I hope that the developer will address these issues soon. The visuals are great, the gameplay is nice and it has some great scares, but the gameplay could be more straight forward, I got stuck a lot of times, especially at the end. This one is different than what the dev usually creates… not in a bad way, it has some flaws here and there, interaction based, as the scares and atmosphere is on point. Glad the dev’s working on a day 1 patch. Sometimes the mic is too sensitive, so be careful of noises.
