MACHI KORO With Everyone is a digital board game that combines the classic analog board game Machi Koro, which was nominated for the Spiel des Jahres (German Game of the Year) in 2015 and has sold over a million copies worldwide, with its sister game Machi Koro2 into one package. It can be played offline or online with up to 4 people, allowing you to enjoy the game not just with friends and family, but with players from all over the world. You can play with up to 4 people, both online and offline. Find Friends – You can invite friends from Steam to play. Find Guests – You can play exclusively with people who know the password you share via social media or other means. Random Match – You can play with players from around the world matched randomly. Each player needs to prepare their own hardware and software Cross-platform play is not supported. Unfortunately I am a little dissapointed. Because the online game is very hyperactive. As in VERY hyperactive; so much that it is distracting.
Everything moves: the background, the active player has a moving circle, the dice are extra animated, your guide pops in etc: I find it annoying. I was actually hoping I could turn off all the extra (useless) animations and just play the game in its basics: roll the dice, build and that’s it. So I hope the developers could build in this option: to just play the game without all the hullabaloo. I am really debating between recommending it or not; because it is Machi Koro and it’s fun, but those animations are not for me, and I wonder if I will keep playing it. So I recommend this game if you are a fan of Machi Koro and do not mind useless hyperactive animations. If you do mind, I would suggest first checking it out to see if they are a deal breaker for you. I’ve been waiting on this game to come to Steam for a long time. Having both Machi Koro 1 and 2 board games, hearing about a digital adaption was great news.

I hope they consider bringing this game to mobile platforms in the near future. Its a lot of fun and does a great job teaching new players. I will be playing this game for years to come. Very fun multiplayer game both in local co op and online. Choose 3 different abilities out of many to battlle others with satisfying gameplay, cute cartoony visuals and sound effects causing endless laughs and fun. It’s great in short bursts or slightly extended sessions if you mix things up every so often in the match, as you can quick swap abilities between rounds. Using the random ability option also adds a different level of fun as you don’t know what mixture of abilities you will get to use. Definitely recommended if you are looking for an amusing multiplayer game to play with family and/ or friends. Found this from youtube shorts and wasn’t expecting much but genuinely pretty fun.
