Really fun platforming and level design (prior to Dark World). The Challenge Orbs were challenging but felt doable. The game itself feels like it would be a very fun any% speedrun for sure! Definitely worth playing if you like the genre! Without Dark World, the game is a pretty solid 9 or 10/10 game for me!
Mr. Run and Jump Direct Play:
The Shards. The amount you had to collect in each level ranging anywhere from like 100 to OVER 400 is just too much especially when a good portion of them are out of the way to get. But again, I was willing to overlook this until Dark World happened. The Platinum times for Time Trial seem a bit too unreasonable, granted I didn’t try to get more than a few platinum’s, but even from just looking at some of the times required for a gold, seeing that you have to go even faster than that by probably a decent margin doesn’t seem worth it the effort. Too bad there’s an achievement locked behind getting platinum in every level. The Time Trial Leaderboard seems like it could be improved a bit. Doesn’t even show you which time is yours or show your best time when you hover over a level. Only one save file??? I’m really tempted to speedrun this game but with one save file, having to delete all my progress to start up a new save isn’t ideal.
