You live with your childhood friend who is a bit of a Tsundere. Due to certain circumstances, your goal is to make her the mother of your children. However, there is a possibility that she is keeping a secret. You have the option to investigate it or ignore it. The world of Ekrose, where the game is set, is nothing short of mesmerizing. It’s a place built on dreams and eternal knowledge, with an atmosphere of experimentation that permeates every corner. As Aimacra, the protagonist, I was tasked with finding a missing friend. This seemingly straightforward mission quickly turned into a journey filled with unexpected challenges. From intense boss battles to nerve-wracking rush hours, rhythm-based sequences, and complex platforming, Diari never let me get too comfortable. The variety in gameplay kept me on my toes, making each new area feel like a fresh experience.
One of the aspects I appreciated most about Diari was how it handled difficulty. The game doesn’t rely on frustratingly high skill bars to challenge the player. Instead, it introduces new mechanics and concepts that naturally ramp up the difficulty as you progress. Each area within Ekrose feels distinct, with puzzles that often reflect the unique characteristics of the environment. This thoughtful design kept the game feeling fresh and prevented the experience from becoming repetitive. What truly sets Diari apart is its deep connection between the story and the player. I found myself drawn into the narrative in ways I hadn’t experienced in other games. The game offers a level of expression that’s difficult to put into words, allowing for a personal connection with the characters and the world they inhabit. It’s clear that a lot of heart and soul went into creating Diari, and that effort shines through in every aspect of the game.
MWNeus Pre-Installed:
Lots of familiar faces from the POPGOES and Five Nights at Freddy’s game series! A nostalgic theme, with practically all gameplay happening in a 2000s plastic LCD toy! Playable challenges in the base game style, like the Sticky, Expire, and Blind modes! Entirely new minigames, like Longest Popgoes, Fishing, and Topping Juggle! Unlockable playable characters, stickers, character sheets, diary entries, and more! The lore tidbits included in this game were also quite interesting. which is great since the main gameplay is also quite fun. Along side the main game, there are several minigames that have their own quirks such as fishing or juggling pizza toppings. I really like the rewards. You earn 3 random stickers for beating each campaign level, and then you can earn journal entries for beating the minigames, alongside unlocking different characters to play as and 2 new backdrops of FNaF and FNaC once you beat the main campaign.
