The tiny details of the kanji symbols in the rain or being able to pet various shiba dogs and their eyes have the glow of the city lights reflecting on them was just cool to me. And you can’t beat a game that lets you pet dogs AND cats (although the cats can be little jerks and refuse you!) Combat was fun for me, I know it can be “boring” to some but I enjoyed it. You can be stealthy or you can just go in elements a-blazing or just use your bow for some ranged combat. I mixed it up and had no problems with being bored.
Few things to keep in mind, I feel that some of the puzzles can be a little vague, spiking the difficulty a little here and there, and the main area can be a little hard to navigate at first because the backgrounds and rooms are a little too similar, but I personally wouldn’t call any of those nitpicks a deal breaker by any means. Get scared, and fall in love with this awesome game. this game is honestly really great! i loved the story-line and the characters as well as the pace of the story and such. My only complaint is the lack of checkpoints in the game (which i don’t think there literally is any). I’ve got an average of 50-60% completion in all five episodes. I thought i played the game wrong or something haha. Its quite a shame realizing that i missed a lot of things despite thinking i was playing the game quite thoroughly. I don’t think ill be replaying the game any time soon but other than that everything is pretty awesome! the mini games are pretty easy to pass (only gave me headaches a few times) and you get to re-spawn without having to worry about reading the story again or anything.
