You will follow our protagonists to engage in bloody strategic battles on the Eurasian continent. The game will show ancient buildings with unique regional characteristics, a wide variety of enemies with various skills, a new tower defense game mode, and a unique environment system. And an epic historical overhead plot! I took a chance on this game. I thought it was going to be some cheap hack Chinese knock off. I was expecting it to have major bugs and be thrown together. I expected it to be super short. I started at 3 pm and ended up playing almost 7 hours straight so far, with much more to play. I had to stop to finally eat. What I got was a pleasant surprise. It’s just as addicting as the game Kingdom rush that it’s imitating. The art work is great. The game mechanics are great, everything runs smooth. It’s down right fun to play. It feels like an addition to the original franchise.

Remember it’s early access. There are only a few small bugs here and there, it feels surprisingly polished. Translations still need some work. And you can see where they will be expanding the world later as they work on it. Some people are saying it’s too hard, but I like it, it’s a decent challenge. Look, I love the Kingdom Rush franchise, I’ve bought them all, but it takes to long to come out with new levels an games, and good tower defense games are few and far between, I welcome the competition and another player in the genre. We should all be thankful another company is giving it a go and support them. Maybe they will also eventually branch out into other styles too. I’d be fine though if I get more of this.
