Silent Hill 2 Remake Direct Play:
Like many others, I was worried about the game’s progress during the first release of gameplay footage. I understood the criticism at the time, although I did think it was too harsh. Regardless, Bloober did not fail us. They understood our concerns, and remained faithful to the original, a game that myself and many others consider a jewel. This remake managed to re-capture the same lightning in a bottle. I can’t discuss the game without mentioning the soundtrack. While the game was being installed, I was listening to the soundtrack that came with the Deluxe Edition. Akira Yamaoka never fails to make masterpieces, and I will happily say that he flawlessly recreated the old tracks, while adding new ones that belong in this game just perfectly.
