You are trapped in an underground subway. Observe your surroundings carefully and take the correct trains to reach the ‘Station 5’ and exit the subway. You start at Station 0, waiting for trains. When each train arrives, get on that train and inspect it to see if you can find any anomalies inside. If you find any anomalies, leave that train and wait on the station for the next train. If you don’t find any anomalies, take that train to the next station. If you take the train with anomaly, that train will take you back to Station 0. If you take the train without any anomaly, that train will take you to the next station. Take the correct trains to reach ‘Station 5’, where you will have the exit available. Inspect each arriving train to identify any anomalies by observing the specific order of items inside. If anything appears odd or strange, consider it as an anomaly. Examples of anomalies include things like objects that have moved, the sudden appearance of extra items, or the unexplained disappearance of something on the train at the station.
The way it works is, if you spot an anomaly, you stay at the same station, having to wait a full minute for the train to depart, and then another 20 seconds for the next one to arrive. If you spot another one on that train, that’s another long wait. Or if you decide to stay on the train, then you still have to wait for it to depart, and then travelling to the next station is another remarkably long wait. This game can sneak up on you due to how immersive it truly is. And it just pulls you in such a way with it’s story telling, the haunting ambient music that plays during certain scenes, it’s characters, the choices you make, the consequences you have to live with, etc. I can’t speak for everybody of course More story, more action, and just more of that Cyberpunk vibe we all love. But here’s the real kicker – the improvements. The game runs smoother than ever.
Station 5 Direct Play:
The graphics, while not next-gen, are still visually pleasing. The musical accompaniment, especially the techno versions of Soviet songs, adds a unique allure to the game. I want to bumble around and look at the level design, all the little nods and jokes. I want to stumble across subquests, I want to take in the atmosphere. You cannot do that if you are constantly checking to see if the game is saved. For achievement hunters it is a very easy and straightforward 100% with nothing missable and the options to replay missions from certain points after completion. Multiple planets are interesting and the story based objectives are enjoyable to unlock. Drifting on snowy roads feels so satisfying it’s worth buying to experience that alone.
