The Roottrees are Dead is a damn solid mystery game. With your trusty 90s old PC and dial up connection, you have to work out the family history of the Roottree Clan. There’s a bunch of twists and turns, various ways of finding out evidence, and various types of puzzle. Nothing too ridiculous or gameified however – every step of your investigation is going to be fairly logical, using the information you’ve got to try and get more. This release is both prettied up (with all AI Art removed! Thank you dev! That’s appreciated) and expanded with a second game, Roottreemania, which is a sequel to the original story and deals with family developments in the aftermath. The two combine together extremely
