About The Game
Kynseed is a sandbox life sim RPG brought to you by developers who worked on the Fable series for Lionhead Studios. Live your life in a quirky world where everyone ages and dies, including your pets! Take control of the mystical Kynseed and grow your family legacy over generations as you pass your skills and powers down to your children. We are a team of three little pigs named Neal, Charlie, and Matt who are building a brick house to keep the wolf from the door. With over 30 years of collective experience developing the Fable series and its community, we hope to infuse our games with the same charm, eccentricity, and humour that permeated Lionhead’s games.
Using our collective experience, we’re working hard to make Kynseed the sort of game we always wished had been made. To help us on this journey, we’ll be calling upon our community to give feedback, guidance, and ego boosts. Ultimately, we want to always be accessible and honest with the players and never feed them a company line. So, for better or worse, you can expect us to talk to you all with the same honesty and candor as a coworker: with plenty of cursing and sarcasm. I REALLY am Enjoying Kynseed so far!! It definitely has a bit of a darker plot line than I anticipated, and the end of the prologue had me IN SHOCK lol but in a good way! It has all of the things I love in this genre of game, and all of the Fae content is really really fresh and exciting! I hope they lean into this too as the game goes on! Fae animals/plants for the farm? Fae romance? no? just me-? lol
I hope hope HOPE there is time to repair your relationship with your sibling- I am really invested in that plot as it is shown through the whole beginning of the game as your strongest bond so far, and I really want to make it right with them if possible. On the flip side I also want to get closer to Twig! They’re the only other person who gets what we are going through, so I hope building a strong relationship with them is possible! But Overall I would definitely suggest this to my friends!! 🙂 Really excited about it, I feel like this game is going to be one of my all time favorites Beautiful game that reminds me of Stardew Valley (one of my faves), yet feels completely fresh and exciting. The game world is lovingly crafted, there is SO much to explore and they are not nearly done! The freedom you get within the game is wonderful. You can run a shop, a blacksmith, apothecary etc, each with their own mini games and things to deal with day to day. There is already so much to do in the current build of the game so I can recommend it even in its current iteration. The developer is so active and responsive to questions and I can see how much effort they are putting into this game.
