Alice awakens in an unfamiliar place. In search of her lost sister, Alice ventures through the eerie mansion. This is an escape adventure game. Within a building full of traps and mechanisms, your goal is to find the exit. Players will play as Alice, navigating through sealed rooms using click-based interactions to find items and solve the mechanisms to advance to the next stage. Alice in the Nightmare Land is an escape adventure where the protagonist must overcome a variety of escape rooms, full of puzzles and deadly traps, in order to escape from this place and find her missing sister in the course of her adventure. The result is a rather peculiar mix with a sinister atmosphere and mystery, with puzzles similar to those of the Silent Hill saga, deaths slightly comical, absurd and with some gore, similar to those seen in cartoons, and finally with an art of top quality anime style, that lets you see the most explicit death with gore not suitable for everyone, but that also lets you experience uncensored sex scenes with a variety of fetishes and with the same quality of drawing from the gore scenes (if you install the external patch), resulting in a very rewarding gaming experience.
The game, as I said, consists of solving escape rooms (8 in total), which increase in difficulty and complexity proportionally, with the last ones being the most difficult. To solve these escape rooms, only one gameplay mechanic is used, using the mouse for everything, clicking on different areas of the screen and even in very specific areas. All puzzles are preliminary, so you have to solve them in a certain order to get objects and codes that will help you in later puzzles in the same room, since all rooms are individual and do not share objects (with only one exception). Since the game basically requires you to click on all possible places, it is possible to activate traps that do not correspond to the puzzles and instead kill the protagonist, resulting in: a pixel art death scene, a sex scene, or an explicit gore scene.
Alice in the Nightmare Land Direct Play:
This game is certainly not for all audiences, mainly because it has quite graphic gore scenes (even though it is a drawing) and sexual fetishes that may not please everyone, such as futanari, bestiality or tentacles. However, the game allows you to skip any of these scenes to just enjoy the gameplay, which is certainly good, the puzzles are intuitive and once you get used to observing well and clicking in the right places, you can solve even the most advanced levels without resorting to the help book, which is entertaining and with an approximate duration of 2 hours. So I recommend this game to people who like to solve escape rooms similar to Silent Hill games on mobile and have some tolerance for gore, but if instead you are only interested in sexual content, you have to take into account that you have to like the genres or fetishes I mentioned, otherwise you will not find anything to your liking.
