That’s no bubblegum army, that’s an endless horde of menacingly pink aliens taking over our planet! Enough sweet talk, grab your gear, we need you and your squad to defeat the pink pests! YOUR MISSION: Liberate Earth from the Alien horde! While you can play From Space solo (if you’re brave enough) you’d be wise to invite some friends to help you out. With online play you can create a four-person squad. Look, there’s a lot of those pink pests out there so the more people, the better. Oh, and with a squad, you’ll have some witnesses to tell everyone how awesome you are. It’s basically a win-win scenario. With a variety of weapons (Rocket Launchers, Miniguns, Flamethrowers and more!) there’s no excuse not to annihilate those aliens! Build your ideal spec and use tactical items such as grenades and mines, or slow down the hordes with barbed wire and machinegun turrets. Remember to scavenge the world for loot, you’ll need it.

We like innovators! Perks can be swapped around, even between your squad! We’re going to level with you… an alien threat is terrifying, terrifyingly fun! Look, the world is already pretty beat up as it is. Who’s going to notice if you cause a little bit more destruction while saving the day? People have insurance it’s fine…

Use the left stick to move your character, use the right stick to aim and shoot your gun. Twin-stick shooters were already invented (or at least made popular) in 1982 by Eugene Jarvis with his arcade game Robotron 2084. There was no way to make twin-stick shooters for consoles or home computers for a long time to follow, though, because the modern day game controller with two sticks was not invented yet. Only during the last decade with X-Box ad PlayStation controllers becoming popular, twin-stick shooters became common on consoles and the PC. And this game is a fine (but not perfect) twin-stick shooter. You are a soldier, sent on a mission. Unfortunately, your chopper gets shot down and so you start injured and alone. You do what hero soldiers do – dash, melee, place barbed wire, energy shields, mines or automatic turrets, set up a temporary protective dome, throw grenades or molotov cocktails, collect ammo and various other items and of course use bandages or medkits to heal yourself. Reload your weapons and collect new guns – but the ammo is very limited, and you cannot carry many weapons at the beginning. Additional inventory slots are unlocked when you level up – if you live long enough.

- Once the game is done downloading, right click the .zip file and click on “Extract to” (To do this you must have 7-Zip or winrar, which you can get here).
- Double click inside the From Space folder and run the exe application.
- Thats all, enjoy the game! Make sure to run the game as administrator and if you get any missing dll errors, look for a file named All In One Runtimes.exe run this and install it.
